HISTORY

Inspiration comes from many places . For Sallie Hall, the founder of Savel, her inspiration came while decorating her house in Mexico City. She discovered hand-crafted wool fabrics created by local weavers.  When Sallie returned back to the States in 1984, she was inspired to interpret these weaves for the American consumer. Today, Sallie is joined by her daughter Andrea, together they travel the world using local mills for inspiriation.
