Robert Kime’s passion for dealing antiques, combined with his love of textiles and his eye towards interior design has given him an unique edge. His prints might be his most well-known fabrics, created from Robert Kime’s own designs. Created in England using screen-prints, set by hand, these textiles are the center of the Robert Kime line. While studying at Oxford in the early 60’s, Robert Kime made money for school by dealing antiques to his fellow students. With stints at Sotheby’s and Miriam Rothschild, Kime sharpened his eye for quality home furnishings. Although he never intended to get into design, he soon found himself working with fabric and textiles and developed a reputation of being a master at décor.
