MAYA ROMANOFF WALLCOVERING
Maya Romanoff has one guiding mantra – “Make every wall beautiful” . For over 40 year, they have done just that. Their skilled artisans have produced exquisite wallcoverings that incorporate glass beads, gold leaf, seashells and even wood. This commitment to extraordinary craftsmanship has allowed Maya Romanoff to become the largest producer of handcrafted wallcoverings in the United States.
The Maya Romanoff collection has many textures and materials, from paper, wood veneers, vinyl, metallic, weave, or hemp. Maya Romanoff is committed to making ”Every Wall Beautiful”. Their True Metals line is a shimmering collection of metallic wall coverings that radiate elegance. Hemp is a natural covering that grounds a room in natural beauty. Their collection of Hand Painted Vinyl elevates a material with notes of elegance. And their trademarked Bedazzled Flexible Glass Bead Wallcovering Blanket is a textural feast for both the hand and the eye.
Maya Romanoff was a visionary, with a unique viewpoint. The company began in Woodstock in 1969 during the “Summer of Love” while working with tie dyed textiles, and since then Maya Romanoff always sought to innovate. With Maya’s passing in 2014, the company under the guidance of his wife and President, Joyce, has re-launched and re-branded with a continued commitment to Maya’s valued principles.
