HISTORY
The creation of Lee Jofa began in 1823 when Englishman, George Johnson, began a rope-making firm on the docks of New York City. The business expanded and began creating the stuffing for upholstery craftsmen. In 1965, noted textile house Arthur H. Lee & Company acquired Jofa and formed Lee Jofa. Today, Lee Jofa is part of the Kravet family of design and home furnishings. Kravet, established in 1918 is a fourth-generation family business that is a recognized leader in the home décor.
