Timeless, a word Jane Shelton uses to describe her collection conveying a sense of permanence, a look never outdated. Thirty years ago, the perspective to shape an entire line was unusual. The idea of the “boutique” fabric house was not yet in vogue. Today, Jane Shelton continues to let her artistic vision guide her in an individual quest to create a line of home décor that is infused with character and elegant style.

FABRIC COLLECTION

The Jane Shelton collection is a veritable treasure trove of choices, with each fabric a jewel waiting to be found by discerning tastes.  The choices are bountiful; a wide palette of blues, greens, yellows, reds, neutrals and multi-color. The designs are just as distinct and varied, available as prints, checks, stripes, velvets, woven, sheers, embroidery and chenille. Jane Shelton’s trimmings match the bold looks of textiles with choices to include; cords, ribbons, beaded, fringe, wooden ball fringe and bleated tape.

HISTORY

The Jane Shelton brand began in the 1970’s when she took a sideline job decorating her friend’s home. Soon word of mouth turned the part-time hobby into a full time job. Unhappy with the textiles available to her, Jane worked with existing fabric houses selecting their lines. In time these “original” selections became the Jane Shelton fabric house. Which is the reason Jane has always said “I am not a designer, I’m an editor”.
