HISTORY

The James Hare story began over a century ago when Mr. Hare started the business hand delivering cloth bought from individual weavers.  Understanding the need of the tailoring trade gave James Hare the edge to his newfound company. Today, James Hare is the preeminent silk expert in Britain; still owned and operated by the Hare family with the same attention to quality and customer service that James Hare offered 100 years ago.
