GLANT FABRICS
Gary Glant is inspired by the world around him. After returning from a trip to Hawaii, Glant created a fabric texture based on the lava from a volcano, it was featured in the Museum of Modern Art, in New York. The need to be inspired and translate that inspiration, defines the extraordinary uniqueness of Glant. A line of nearly 2000 selections in an array of textures and colors has made Glant an international leader in home décor. Glant fabrics can be found in the most discriminating homes, as well as high-end hotels, restaurants, private jets and luxury yachts. With production originating in the fashion mecca of Northern Italy, Glant’s mills produce the finest jacquard, linens, silks, cotton, viscose and acrylic textiles.

HISTORY
In 1973, Gary Glant ran a successful chain of fabric and design stores in the Pacific Northwest. In 1976, he launched Glant Textiles. Traveling to Finland, Gary designed a line of textiles inspired by architecture. When Glant presented his collection to Kneeder-Fauchere, the leading furnishings showroom, they immediately agreed to represent Glant’s line of designs. His work was soon featured on the cover of Home and Garden and Glant Textiles was born. Today, Glant is still a family represented company and is a world leader in color and texture.
