Over 100 years ago, Mariano Fortuny began his textile company by combining his background as an inventor and artist. His expertise in both mediums created fabric that was beautiful and exceptional in quality. Now, a century later, Fortuny still produces exquisite fabric in their original factory. They use the same time honored techniques that remain a company secret. Operated by the Riad Brothers, they honor the original vision of Mariano Fortuny by using the latest technology and highest-grade materials to manufacture textiles. Fortuny’s new lines offers definitive collaborations with designs that capture traditional luxury while adding a new contemporary feel.

With nearly 400 different fabric choices, Fortuny is the only manufacturer needed when looking for high-end textiles. Their collections range from traditional floral to stylish camouflage. Material versatility of cashmere, silk, velvet, mohair, and wool flannel. What truly sets Fortuny apart from other fabric companies is their fabric expression; each fabric is also a work of art.

Established in 1919, Fortuny continues to use the same factory in Venice that the founder, Mariano Fortuny, used when he began his company. Since 1994, Mickey and Maury Riad oversee the day-to-day management of the company.
