HISTORY
It all began with a can of paint. John Farrow and Richard Ball founded their paint company in 1946 after having met working in a local clay pit in England. Farrow & Ball soon gained a reputation supplying paint for Ford Motor Cars, Raleigh Bicycles, and the War Office. When a fire destroyed the original paint factory, the company rose from the ashes and expanded into wallpapers and opened showrooms across Europe and overseas, including Boston, Chicago and New York.
