Joe Finer and Harry Gutterman; were two friends who managed to escape the horrors of Nazi Germany. The two partners started a small slipcover and drapery shop on Long Island in the early 1950s. They had always dreamed of going into the wholesale fabric business somewhere in the Southwest, United States. With Harry leading the way, space was found in, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Soon the pair were shipping orders all over the country. Today, Fabricut is still run by the families of Joe and Harry, and are as committed as ever in bringing the best quality fabrics to the world.
