Nearly 40 years ago, Elizabeth Eakins started a textile company that prided itself on creating an inspiring product made by hand. Today, Eakins still follows this ethos marketing a line of fabrics that are hand crafted and born of all natural fibers. Their textiles are sowed from an idea that quality and craftsmanship go hand in hand.  Elizabeth Eakins is also committed to sustainability; its use of all natural fibers and environmentally friendly dyes show their dedication to making an ecological imprint on the planet. FABRIC COLLECTION

Every yard of Elizabeth Eakins fabric is special, born from a hand woven and hand printed process. While inspired by historic designs, the lines are kept fresh with a modern sensibility. Their prints and colors are bold and soothing. Their use of all natural linen, linen/hemp and cotton/linen blends means that each texture creates a different read of pattern and print. Their Nagpur Orchid line is a modern take on the paisley print.Geometric done in a calming hues and exquisite floral lay claim to any personal style.

HISTORY

Since 1978, Elizabeth Eakins has been committed to creating a line of textiles and rugs that stand out for their superior quality and hand crafted care.  In 1981, a young man named Scott Lethbridge joined her team. Together, they operate a 22,000 square foot studio in Norwalk, Connecticut.  Environmental sustainability and excellence in design are joined together forming a successful enterprise today.
