Printing and weaving are two of the most difficult skills to perfect in the world of fabric. Brochier has done just that, they have become masters in the time-honored crafts of fine prints and elegant weaves. Using innovative technique and the eye for craftsmanship, Brochier’s skilled artisans create textiles that combine sumptuous fabric, elegant styling, and bold creativity. Each design is produced under the demanding eye of Erasmo Figini, the artistic guide to the Brochier collection. Using everyday life, nature and his own personal tradition as inspiration, Mr. Figini creates a line that is emotional in its tonal colors and patterns.
Fine silks, large printed and jacquard textiles, luxurious velvets, elegant brocades or damasks, the Brochier collection accommodates a wide variety of tastes and styles. Their patterns are simple geometrics to eye-catching animal prints with colors that run the rainbow of hues. Lines such as CIGNO include elegant weaves that are freely inspired by the “Chanel” style. While ALBALI, is an exotic leopard print that is produced on soft velvet. Many of the lines are available in a wide variety of uses, from curtain to upholstery.
Brochier began in France, and today is found in the most sophisticated showrooms all over the globe. In 2007, Brochier was acquired by Clerici Tessuto C.S.P.A., a family run fabric company from the glorious Lake Como area of Italy.
