HISTORY
Anne Dubbs and Liz Downing worked in the design trade in New York before they arrived in London. The two joined forces to create a company that focused on English design. They set out to offer fabrics that brought back historical styles but with innovative color and fresh takes on the classic. Today, Blithfield is part of Lee Jofa. The creation of Lee Jofa began in 1823 when Englishman, George Johnson, began a rope-making firm on the docks of New York City. Today, Lee Jofa is part of the Kravet family of design and home furnishings. Kravet, established in 1918 is a fourth generation family business that is a recognized leader in home décor.
