Celebrating Color - The Appeal of Shades

Color can transform your room - how you style your space can create a vibrant atmosphere or a calm, peaceful oasis. Here's some classic colors that you can play with when decorating:

Vibrant tones. Think tones like ocher, cobalt blue, and yellow that you can use in pops of color - an accent wall or piece of furniture - or to fully saturate a room with drama and rich splendor.

Neutrals. Creams, stone-colored, pastels and beiges all make a room classic and easy to update with seasonal trends by adding pillows, changing the window treatments, and adding other items like throws or rugs.

Blue. Pantone's Color of the Year is classic blue and Sherwin-Williams is naval. You could call blue this year's "It Girl."

Autumnal. Fall abounds in rich colors like the leaves changing from green to brown, red, and orange. You can add vases of foliage to your dining room to infuse it with an earthy charm.
